CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The Montgomery County Coroner's office said a 15-year old boy died at Childrens Medical Center following a tragic accident at church camp.

Officials said the boy, Curtis Geesman of Lebanon, was taken off life support Wednesday afternoon after suffering a head injury Tuesday.

The accident happened at a church camp being held at Cedarville University for 1300 children.

Authorities said the boy was wearing a sumo wrestling suit, in a wrestling match, when he jumped and hit his head.

Students and faculty at Cedarville University said they were hoping for a miracle. They had been holding prayer vigils for the boy and his family.
