UPDATE: One Driver Killed In Darke County Crash

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio -- A head-on crash Thursday evening near Greenville in Darke County, involving three vehicles, killed one person and injured two others.The accident happened on State Route 571 near Ludy Road, just west of the Greenville city limits.Darke County deputies said it was actually two separate crashes. A car hit the rear of another car, sending an eastbound Saab across the centerline and head-on into the path of a sports utility vehicle.The driver of the Saab, a 32-year-old man, was killed. His name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. A passenger in his car was flown from the scene to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.The female driver of the SUV was also flown to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.A father and two children in the other car were not injured.Darke County deputies are handling the investigation.Steve.Baker@whiotv.com
