Man Shot In Leg Following Possible Dice Game

DAYTON, Ohio -- Police in Dayton said a man was taken to a local hospital after he was shot late Monday night.Investigators said officers were driving in the area of McCabe and Groveland and discovered a group of individuals running away. They said that is when officers realized that someone had just been shot.According to police, the man was shot in the leg by an unknown suspect.Officers said they found dice at the scene, and that there may have been some gambling going on before the shooting, but they are not sure if that contributed to the shots being fired.Police said the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.Witnesses are still being questioned, but so far, no arrests have been made.
