Dexter Moore Heads To Prison

DAYTON, Ohio -- Dexter Moore, the driver who hit and killed 17 year old Julian Hill as he stepped off the school bus, is headed to prison for five years.Judge Mary Huffman also stripped Moore of his drivers license for life. He was also ordered to pay restitution to Hill's family.A jury found Moore guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide in July.Moore was travelling nearly 100 miles per hour and only wearing one contact lens when he hit Hill as he stepped off his school bus in front of his Jefferson Township home.The five-year prison sentence handed down Thursday is the maximum sentence for the charge.
