HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Montgomery County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a bizarre accident in Harrison Township.

The incident happened at Belton Foods at 2701 Thunderhawk Court. The 61-year-old victim was a truck driver for the company.

The man was outside his semi truck when the truck started to move. According to police, the driver tried to jump back into the truck to stop it, slipped and fell, and was run over by the truck.

The semi continued about one-half block where it came to rest in some bushes at a nearby business.

The victim was dead at the scene. No name has been released.

Sheriff Phil Plummer said this was a tragic accident. The man's wife also works at Belton Foods.
