Angela Hild’s Disappearance Turns To Homicide Investigation

DAYTON, Ohio -- Police in Dayton said the case of a missing woman is now being considered a homicide investigation.Detectives said they are worried about what may have happened to Angela Hild, 37, who disappeared last Thursday.On Wednesday, officers found Hild's missing car in the parking lot of the Woodman Park apartment compex.Hild was last seen dropping her 5-year-old son off at school.Detectives said they believe she was abducted by her husband, Michael Hild. The 43-year-old man was killed during a shootout with police in Melbourne, Fla., last Saturday night after being involved in a traffic accident.Sgt. Tom Flanders said investigators have been working with out-of-state agencies in the case. He said no arrests have been made.Police said Michael Hild had a violent past and had just been released from prison a month ago.Angela's car, a 1996 Geo Prism, was found n the parking lot of the apartment complex in Dayton.
