Masked Men Rob Man Of Jewelry In Broad Daylight

Thursday, August 28, 2008 – updated: 6:01 pm EDT August 28, 2008

Around 2 p.m. Thursday, a man was seen getting out of his SUV with jewelry in hand.

Centerville police said three men in black hooded sweatshirts and white masks came up to him and violently demanded his jewelry.

Officer Matt Dunn said the man was originally headed towards Bo-K’s, off of Far Hills Avenue, and got stopped short.

Police said the masked men took the jewelry and fled in a dark colored Dodge Intrepid-type car, with a driver.

The victim hurt his ankle in the struggle and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police are still looking for the three masked men and the driver of the car. If you have any information on this robbery or were at that shopping plaza around 2 p.m. on Thursday, call Centerville police. The number is 937-433-7661.
