Authorities said a Clark County woman found living with 125 cats, 71 of them dead, could face multiple counts of animal cruetly.

The discovery was made inside Loyce Ogden's Beatrice Street home Thursday.

Investigators said there were a total of 53 live cats in the house, that was covered with animal feces and had toilets and drains that did not work.

Authorities said cleanup must be completed today or the property will be condemned.

Humane Society officials tell us that some of the dead cats will be autopsied to determine if they died of dehydration or from flea bites. The results could mean even more charges.

According to health officials, the residents were ordered to clean up the Beatrice St. home once before. The unsanitary conditions were found when health officials returned Thursday for a follow-up check.

Neighbors said they have been disgusted by the smell from the house and cannot even enjoy their own patios and yards.

Humane Society officials also said they have investigated Ogden before, at another address, where dead cats were found in a freezer.
