Monday, October 6, 2008 – updated: 5:52 pm EDT October 6, 2008

A teenage boy is in Greene County juvenile detention, after making a threat at Bellbrook High School.

Sugarcreek Township police said they arrested the 14-year-old boy Friday after he admited to writing the threat on a bathroom wall.

Police said the teen's words warned of a school shooting.

The boy is charged with felony inducing panic. In juvenile court Monday, a magistrate decided that the boy would remain in detention.

Sgt. Mark White said, "Obviously, this won't go with a slap on the wrist."

Sgt. White said officers were at Bellbrook High School Friday to investigate the threat and to ease fears. Sgt. White said, "We take any and all threats seriously and after this investigation, he'll work his way swiftly through the criminal justice system."

Students said they are not ready to see him back in school. Kristin Compton said, "They should be expelled."

Officials of Sugarcreek Local Schools said there is a zero tolerance policy when it comes to school violence.
