Springfield Mother Gets 10 Years In Son’s Death

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- A Springfield woman convicted in the death of her 1-year-old son is headed to prison.Michelle Davis, 23, will spend the next 10 years behind bars.She was convicted of involuntary manslaughter last week in the death of her son, Christian Wiseman.Prosecutors said the woman failed to get medical help for her son after he was critically injured by his stepfather, Chris Grieve.Grieve was caring for the child when, investigators said, he threw the child the ground. He died at a local hospital five days later.
