Salvation Army Food Baskets Campaign Underway

DAYTON, Ohio -- The Salvation Army's annual Christmas Food Basket Campaign is underway.Last year, more than 20,000 needy people in the Dayton area received assistance from the Salvation Army over the Holiday season.Applications for food baskets will be taken at the Salvation Army location on South Wilkinson Street in downtown Dayton from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Nov. 5, Nov. 10 and 11.Applicants who are employed can apply from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 10th.You have to bring a photo I.D. of each adult in your household, a social security card, medical care for each child, proof of income and proof of current address.
