4 Vehicles Involved In Morning Crash

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio -- Authorities said four vehicles were involved in a crash during Monday morning’s commute in Clark County.The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Troy Road in German Township. Some people who were on the roads at the time said the slick road conditions caused the crash.Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said a person making a left turn caused the chain reaction crash. They said it appears that one driver failed to see another stop.IMAGES Of Clark Co. CrashHowever, there is a dispute over the cause of the crash, considering that snow that was falling at the time of the crash.The German Township Fire Department said the wet roads played a role in the crash. However, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash would have happened, despite the light snow falling.Trooper Ronald Simmons said, “A car stopped to turn. There was another in the northbound lane and was hit in the rear end, causing it to go into another lane, clip another car.”Simmons said one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.The crash remains under investigation.
