DAYTON, Ohio -- In honor of National Homelessness Awareness Week, two local shelters are inviting anyone concerned about the issue to sleep outside this Wednesday night.

"The Other Place" and "Saint Vincent De Paul" are inviting people to sleep outside to raise awareness of the problem in Dayton.

The "Sleep Out And Speak Out For The Homeless" is scheduled for this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

The event takes place at the Saint Vincent De Paul Hotel on West Apple Street in downtown Dayton.
