Ex-Police Officer Indicted

TROY, Ohio -- A former Troy police officer was indicted on an assault charge because of a fight with a current officer.Eric Hartman, 36, is accused of hitting Sgt. Ryan Carsey in the head with a cell phone in October outside the Troy police department.Investigators said Hartman was fired from the department in 2007 for insubordination and conduct unbecoming a police officer.Police said he became argumentative with officers and got into a fight.
