Fairborn Receives Grant To Improve Park

FAIRBORN, Ohio -- The city of Fairborn received a grant to improve its Community Park.The Ohio Department of Natural Resources awarded the city $39,000. The money will be used to purchase a picnic shelter and restroom building.The new buildings will be located near the amphitheater in Community Park on South Maple Avenue, and officials said this will be a great addition for concert-goers and for those to picnic.Construction will begin in 2009.
