Residents Quick To Save Their Shelby Co. Home

SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio -- The occupants of a rural Shelby County home used a fire extinguisher to control a fire early Friday morning at 703 Frazier-Geuy Road."The fire was in the attic of the house," said Flecther Fire Chief Scott Pence. "They had the fire pretty well knocked down when we arrived on the scene."Investigators said the cause of the blaze was an electrical short.Damages were estimated at $3,000.There were no injuries.Flecther received mutual aid from Shelby County Fire and Casstown fire departments.
