2 Men Captured In Overnight Foot Chase

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Authorities said an alert Huber Heights officer stopped a crime before it happened.Investigators said an officer was on routine patrol around 2 a.m. Monday on Oakridge Drive when he noticed a car full of people who were acting suspicious.The officer said he began to approach the car after the driver turned the headlights off. The officer said he noticed that the men were looking into car windows.Once the three men noticed the officer, they fled from the scene, causing a foot chase to ensue.Two of the three men were captured and arrested.An officer with Huber Heights police said, “We found criminal tools on the scene, which leads us to believe they were going to commit some kind of criminal act while they were out here tonight.”At this time, officers are looking for the third person.
