A dog was rescued after being stuck in a 15-inch wide drainage pipe for six days.

The dog was a 2-year-old German short hair boxer mix named Zeke. He went missing the day after Thanksgiving from a home in the 7000 block of Old Troy Pike near St. Paris in Champaign County.

Sarah Story, the dog’s owner, was visiting her parents when the dog went missing.

A crew from Dreier and Maller Inc., from Reynoldsburg used a robotic camera to locate the dog inside a drainage pipe.

Zeke was rescued around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Story said she was glad to have Zeke back and the incident has brought her family closer together.
