Greene Restaurant Facing Lawsuit

Posted: 10:49 am EST December 9, 2008Updated: 11:13 am EST December 9, 2008

A restaurant at The Greene is accused of contributing to a man's falling death in 2006.

Police reports said Todd Jette went to Adobe Gila’s with friends in December of 2006 and was asked to leave after pouring beer on another customer’s head.

Jette tried to slide down a banister on his way out, but fell backwards. He died a few days later of his injuries.

Attorney’s for Jette’s estate claimed that restaurant employees overserved Jette and left him near a staircase.

Beavercreek police investigated the incident when it happened, but they said no foul play was involved.
