GREENVILLE, Ohio -- The holidays are over, and everyone is back to work and school, and youngsters are already looking forward to the next Christmas.

However, in Darke County, a Greenville couple is still attempting to fulfill Christmas wishes from this past Christmas.

Bob Bitner of near Greenville refurbishes used bicycles for children who are in need.

There was no way he could fulfill all of the requests for bicycles in time for Christmas. It may actually taken him another couple of months.

Bitner, whose full-time job is Chaplin at the Brethren Retirement Community, found repairing old bikes rewarding just to see the smiles on the faces of children.

Bitner and his wife, Diana, are always in need of repairable old bikes and good bike parts to continue their mission.
