Strickland Signs Booster Seat Law

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland has signed a bill into law that requires all Ohio children to be strapped into a booster seat.The bill states that once a child turns 4-years-old they must be strapped into a booster seat, which is designed to keep a lap belt from causing internal injuries during a crash.Under Ohio law, children will need to keep buckling in until their ninth birthday or until they grow more than 4 feet 9 inches tall.
