Police in New Lebanon have arrested a man who they believe stole a car, which then led to a string of robberies overnight.

Officers are still looking for the suspect's alleged accomplice.

Investigators said the car was stolen from New Lebanon early Tuesday morning. They said they believe the car was used during a robbery in the parking lot of the Lowes store in Trotwood.

According to deputies in Montgomery County, the same two men may have been responsible for an attempted robbery at the Donut Palace in Harrison Township.

At the Donut Palace, two men walked into the business and demanded money. They even tried to get money from the register themselves, but got scared off and fled the scene.

The stolen vehicle was recovered in Trotwood Tuesday afternoon.
