An Indiana teenager caught her hair on fire trying to get rid of head lice.

Police said Jessica Brooks, 18, soaked her hair in gasoline to get rid of lice, but the gas fumes ignited and set her head on fire.

Brooks is now being treated for burns over most of her body.

Brooks told firefighters that her wedding was just weeks away and she didn’t want to shave her head.
