Late Afternoon Fire Damages Home In Bradford

Firefighters from Bradford and Covington responded to the report of smoke coming from a house at 118 East Smithfield Street in Bradford Monday afternoon.

The attic fire caused an estimated $10,000 in fire, smoke, and water damage to the dwelling, according to Bradford Fire Chief Jam Mottinger.

There were no injuries.

An electrical problem is blamed for the later afternoon blaze.
