Three Arrested In Alleged Drug Deal

CLARK CO., Ohio -- The Clark County Sheriff says an investigation into alleged drug dealing led to the arrest of three people at the Drake Motel and the Cole Manor Apartments on Wednesday morning.Sheriff's deputies and agents from BCI & I executed a search warrant at both locations.Two employees of the Drake Motel were taken into custody for permitting drug abuse from their motel room there, and receiving stolen property after a stolen gun was found in their room. Michelle K. Myers and Richard W. Pack, both of Springfield, were also charged with possessing drug abuse instruments and having a weapon while under disability.A third person. Michael L. Daugherty, of Springfield,was arrested at the Cole Manor Apartments and was found to be in possession of $3,084.25 in cash, twenty-eight foil packets of heroin, a plastic bag of heroin and a plastic bag of crack cocaine.This person will be charged with felony drug abuse and the case will be presented to the Clark County Grand Jury for additional drug trafficking charges.All three are now in the Clark County Jail.
