Greenville Teen Killed By Train

UNION CITY, Ohio -- Union City police and the Darke County Coroner's Office are investigating the death of a teenager who was struck and by a train Saturday night.The victim has been identified as Destiny Longenecker, 18, of Greenville, a senior at Greenville High School.The incident happened on the Ohio side of Union City at the Deerfield St. CSX crossing.The victim was apparently trying to cross the tracks in front of the train around 9:30 Saturday night.On Monday, about two dozen teddy bears and other stuffed animals marked the crossing where the accident happened.At Greenville High School, grief counselors are on hand providing help to students and staff.
