Arrest Made In KFC Robbery

WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio -- Police in West Carrollton said they have taken a man into custody who is accused of an armed robbery.The suspect was taken into custody at the Club of Spring Valley Apartments on Spring Valley Road in Miami Township.According to police, officers went to the apartment complex early Wednesday morning with a search warrant. They said the 18-year-old man is accused of robbing a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in West Carrollton last month.Officers said the man is the main suspect in the robbery. They said they were able to locate him thanks to good detective work and a similar motive.West Carrollton Police Sgt. Robert Hensley said, “Good police work. There were able to find him because the motive sounded familiar.”Officers removed several bags of evidence from the apartment and will continue to examine it.
