Troopers from the Maryville Post of the State Highway Patrol said they investigated a single-vehicle crash Saturday that killed a Piqua man and injured his brother.

A pick up truck driven by Tony R. Bryant, 36, Piqua, drove off the roadway, overturned, ejecting both the driver and his passenger near Belle Center.

The crash happened on State Route 273 in northern Logan County.

Tony Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene.

Travis J. Bryant, 31, of Piqua, was seriously injured. He was removed from the scene aboard LifeFlight to St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, where his is listed in fair condition.

Troopers said they suspect alcohol was a contributing factor in causing the crash.

This was the first fatal crash in Logan County this year.
