Remains Of Fallen Soldier Returned To U.S.

NEW BREMEN, Ohio -- A ceremony was held Sunday night for a New Bremen native who was killed in Iraq.Sgt. Brian K. Naseman’s remains were taken to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.Naseman was a 1990 graduate of New Bremen High School in Auglaize County. He was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard and deployed to Iraq a month ago.Naseman spent three weeks in Kuwait and had only been in Iraq a few days before he was killed on Friday.So far, the military has not released many details, but they have confirmed that Naseman was killed in Taji, Iraq, of a non-combat-related incident.Naseman is survived by his wife and two sons in Wisonsin. He still has family in the New Bremen area.
