MORAINE, Ohio -- The post office announces a change that will mean the end of one zip code in Montgomery County.

Those against the plan showed up for a meeting Tuesday night in Moraine.

Residents of the 45418 Moraine zip code recently received postcards telling them that their zip code will change to the Dayton zip code of 45417 on July 1.

Many of the people who attended the meeting said that this means their insurance rates could go up.

Moraine city officials have sent letters to various Ohio lawmakers to try and stop the plan.
