SPRINGBORO, Ohio -- A mother and her three children were taken to Sycamore Hospital Sunday morning after a two-car crash in Springboro.

Police said the family was going eastbound on Ohio 73, east of I-75, when their SUV was hit by a car exiting at Greenwood Lane.

The car that hit them ran a red light and hit the SUV, causing the SUV to flip over, police said.

The driver was taken to Sycamore with non-life-threatening injuries. Her three children also suffered minor injuries. All passengers were wearing seat belts, police said.

The passengers in the car declined medical treatment and police said the driver got cited for running a red light.
