Black Bear Spotted Near Girl Scout Camp

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio -- A Black Bear that has been spotted roaming in Warren County has now been seen at a Girl Scout camp.The bear was reportedly seen Tuesday and Wednesday at Camp Butterworth in Maineville in southern Warren County. That is about 15 miles from the unconfirmed spotting near Franklin that came four hours earlier.Authorities said they were contacted as soon as the bear was spotted and the Scouts have moved to a secure location.Wildlife officials are continuing to monitor the Scout camp to ensure safety there. The bear has been spotted at least 12 times since May.
