SPRINGBORO, Ohio -- A black bear was spotted again Wednesday morning in Springboro. The black bear was seen walking across the parking lot of the Dialysis Centers of Warren County in Springboro.Cathy Turner who works at the Dialysis Center said, "He doesn't seem to be scared of people. He actually came toward us when we looked out the back door. He walked across the parking lot and into the woods."Last week, the bear was spotted roaming near a Girl Scout camp in Warren County near the town of Maineville. In recent weeks, the bear has also been seen in Waynesville, Franklin and Miamisburg.Officials said the bear has covered at least 100 miles in the past few weeks. It first crossed the Kentucky-Ohio border into Adams County and then made its way into Brown County. A short time later, the bear was seen in Clinton County.Wildlife officials hope the bear keeps moving because they said all of the things a black bear needs to thrive, won’t be found here in the Miami Valley. If you are living or working n areas where the bear has been spotted, you need to take precautions. Officials said you should put away your trash cans, bird feeders and pet foods. You should also clean off your grill and most importantly, leave the bear alone. The bear has been spotted at least 12 times since May.
