Covington Boil Advisory Lifted

COVINGTON, Ohio -- Officials in the city of Covington said a boil advisory that was issued on Tuesday due to a large water main break has been lifted.A broken 8-inch water main was repaired and State Route 48 was open to traffic on Tuesday evening following an underground water leak near the VFW Hall.By mid-afternoon Tuesday, the pipe was repaired. A few hours later, Route 48, which is High Street, was reopened to traffic.
