GREENE CO., Ohio -- He was accused of harrassing people along the Little Miami River while wearing a woman's bathing suit.

Now, Kevin Miller's mother is speaking out about her son's bizarre behavior.

At the time, Sugarcreek Township police arrested Miller three weeks ago, he was wearing one of those bathing suits. On Tuesday, Miller was placed on house arrest.

Peggy Miller said she has been living with her son Kevin for awhile and he is supposed to be taking care of her. Recently, Miller said it's been the other way around.

She has spent the last few weeks in and out of court rooms and jails. "We're trying to figure out what's going on in his mind," said Miller.

Miller said she is just like everyone else, and wants to know why her 41-year-old son was wearing woman's bathing suits and accosting people along the river.

She said, "He's going through some mental issues right now and we're waiting for results to see what helps him."

Miller said her son is getting counseling. He has also been placed on house arrest and he is not allowed to see anyone but his mother.

"I think they're more concerned he might hurt somebody. I don't really think that's what he's trying to do. I don't know what he's really trying to do," said Miller.

Officers said Miller exposed himself several times to young girls near the Little Miami River, and he had done it before in the past.

Officer Ron Lewis said, "In Wilmington and Miamisburg, the same exact behavior exposing himself to folks."

Miller described her son as childlike and silly. She said she never thought his actions and his attire would attract so much attention.

"I don't really geet the hoopla about it. It's amazing. It's gone national and on the internet. I don't get that part of it," said Miller.
