BEAVERCREEK, Ohio -- A local visit from sixty Chinese students is being delayed due to concerns over the spread of the H1N1 flu virus. The students, along with five teachers from China, were expected to visit Main Elementary School in Beavercreek on August 26, the day after the new school year begins. One of the coordinators for the visit has confirmed that because the World Health Organization raised the pandemic alert level in mid June for H1N1 flu, parents of students at the school are uneasy about international visitors. So far, no new date has been selected for the visit from the Chinese students and teachers.
