UPDATE: 2 Cyclists Identified In Fatal W.Va. Crash

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- A crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 68 near Morgantown, W.Va. in Monongalia County killed two cycle riders from Shelby County, Ohio, and seriously injured another.Killed was as Bruce Van Fossen, 49, of Sidney, and Barbara Elliston, 48, of Anna. Another cyclist, Peter Vaubel from Botkins was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.Troopers said it was determined that Samuel Flowers of Weston W.Va., was traveling east on Interstate 68 in a 1995 GMC Jimmy and made an illegal U-turn and drove into the path of a 2007 Harley Davidson that was traveling west on I-68 operated by Van Fossen.Van Fossen was the owner of a cleaning business in Sidney, Elliston was a public information specialist with the Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 Office in Sidney.The cycle riders were on their way back from Washington, D.C.
