Assisted Living Facility Fire Ruled Arson

DAYTON, Ohio -- Police said a 60-year-old man is in jail, accused of trying to set the assisted living center where he lives on fire.Firefighters in Dayton said Richard Lewis intentionally set fire to a shared bedroom at the South Park Assisted Living home on Park Drive.The home’s sprinkler system prevented the fire from spreading until firefighters could douse the flames. Damage was very limited.Police said Lewis set the fire because he was angry with fellow residents and the facility’s management.
