HUBER HEIGHTS,Ohio -- A man was trapped in his bed after a car slams into the front of his home in Huber Heights early Sunday morning.

The home is located at the intersection of Procuniar Drive and Pitcairn Road.

Police said a woman allegedly left four young children, all under the age of 8, at home alone while she went out drinking.

Steve Frank, a neighbor, said, “I think it’s wrong.”

Cheryl Swasey, 30, of Huber Heights, drove through a stop sign, went through the front yard and landed in the man’s bedroom pinning him with her car, police said.

As emergency crews worked to free the victim, police said Swasey tried to make a break for it.

Police said Swasey is facing charges of OVI and child endangering.
