TROY, Ohio -- A Piqua man returned to Miami County to face charges of rape and pandering obscenity involving a minor.

Jedidiah "JC" Campbell, 27, appeared in Miami County Municipal Court Wednesday morning and was arraigned on the charges.

According to court papers, the victim was under the age of 10 at the time of the alleged offense between May 31, 2006, and May 31, 2009.

Campbell's bond was set at $600,000. Charges were filed by Piqua Police.

If convicted as charged, Campbell could face life in prison on the rape charge and an additional eight years on the pandering offense.
