Man Dies After Being Pulled From River

MORAINE, Ohio -- A man is dead after he was pulled from the Little Miami River on Wednesday night.Emergency crews said 53-year-old Bobby Mertz of Moraine was trying to swim across the river, but did not make it.The man’s friend pulled him out of the water and started CPR. Medics took the man to a local hospital, where he died on Thursday morning.
