Fire Crews: Vacant Home Blaze Suspicious

DAYTON, Ohio -- Fire enveloped a vacant Dayton home on the 2100 block of East Fifth Avenue around 1 p.m. Saturday and fire crews arrived just before the flames spread to a neighbor’s house.Dayton District Fire Chief Vince Wiley said they arrived and found the vacant home ablaze. Because the home is vacant, fire crews believe it was set intentionally.No one was injured and arson investigators are looking into exactly how the fire was started.
