CLARK CO., Ohio -- Emergency crews are now clearing up the highway and getting traffic back to normal after a fatal accident on I-70 eastbound at Route 40.

The single car crash happened when an elderly driver slammed his minivan into the back of a dump truck.

Troopers said the Kentucky man died at the scene which was just past the on-ramp for Route 40 in a construction zone.

One construction worker was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

For several hours after the crash, eastbound traffic was down to one lane and moving slowly.
