Grandfather Charged After Child Found Alone

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio -- A 2-year-old girl was found wandering the streets of New Carlisle, and now her grandfather is facing charges, police said.The child was found on Monday when Clark County sheriff’s deputies received a call about the child, who was found on Chestnut Drive.Deputies said the child’s grandfather, Eugene Bush, had been watching her. They said he fell asleep because he works the third shift.The child was found about 200 yards from the home. Bush was charged with child endangering.The child was returned to her parents.
