Health Care Professionals Get Free H1N1 Vaccine

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio -- The first in line to get the H1N1 vaccine are emergency workers and health care professionals.Dr. Ashok Devatha, from New Carlisle, said, “For me, staff and patients, it is extremely important people get immunized against the deadly virus.”Clark County has now received two small batches of the H1N1 vaccine and its first priority is emergency responders and people in the health care profession.All week Clark County’s Combined Health District is offering free H1N1 vaccines to people who work in health care .“It is very important for society and community to do this,” said Sandy Beedy, from Clark County.Charles Patterson said there have been no reported deaths from H1N1 so far in Clark County.The H1N1 vaccine has not yet arrived in Montgomery County..
