HARRISON TWP., Ohio -- A bicyclist hit by a car in Harrison Township has died.

The crash happened Thursday morning at the intersection of Philadelphia and Bon Air.

The victim has been identified as Rebekah Meade, 44, of Tipp City.

Authorities said she had the right of way at the intersection when the car hit her. Meade was not wearing a helmet and officers said her head struck the curb.

Neighbor Mathias Ekezie said, "That's kind of a young lady, probably a healthy lady who was riding the bike. Such a thing happening to her is unfortunate."

Authorities said it is still too early in the investigation to know if any charges will be filed.
