Tornado Touchdown Confirmed In Clinton County

WILMINGTON, Ohio -- The National Weather Service said a weak tornado touched down Friday evening near Port William in Clinton County.The storm was classifed as an EF0, the weakest level. The NWS said it had maximum winds of 65 mph and was on the ground for 500 feet at 6:16 p.mThe tornado touched down in a shallow ravine near the intersection of Ohio State Route 134 and Horseshoe Road where it knocked down a few small trees and large branches.In addition, two small windows were broken on a barn, according to NWS personnel.
