ARCANUM, Ohio -- A boil advisory for water customers on West George Street between Jones Street and North Main in Arcanum remains in effect.

The village will take 3 water samples Saturday morning and take them to a lab in Dublin. The lab will test the water for bacteria. If all three samples come back negative for bacteria, the boil advisory can be lifted.

The village will find out the official results early Monday morning and notification will be given to lift the boil avisory if Saturday's test is negative.

If any one of the three tests come back positive for bacteria, the boil advisory will remain in effect.

Village officials will use the county 911 reverse calling feature and other local media outlets to notify customers of any changes.
