DAYTON, Ohio -- If you are heading out to vote today in Montgomery County, you will have to decide whether to support the Dayton Metro Library.Issue 40 is a levy to replace the one that expires in December. It includes a half mil increase that will cost the owner of a $100,000 home about a $1.50 more each month. If it doesn't pass, library officials said they will have to make drastic cuts.Tim Kambitsch, executive Director of the Dayton Metro Libraries said, "If it fails, we will operate next year with half the money that we have had this past year, so that would force us to close many of our locations."There are also library levies on the ballots in Oakwood and Greene County.
