Dayton Officer Relieved Of Duties

DAYTON, Ohio -- Authorities said a Dayton police officer has been relieved of his duties pending an ongoing investigation.News Center 7 learned that Officer Alan Parker works in the city’s second district. At this time, it is not known if the investigation involves a serious internal administrative matter or a criminal matter.He was asked to turn in his badge and his gun on Tuesday night.On Wednesday, the Dayton officer is expected to meet with union representatives and the police department for a formal hearing regarding his future with the department.Stay tuned to News Center 7 and whiotv.com for more on this developing story on Wednesday.
